There was one friend at school that was a Homestuck (he's a good person, very chill, although I haven't talked to him since last month) and one day asked me "What would it be if the Popee cast were in a Homestuck-like scenario", I just answered that it would be pure chaos and then I doodled some dream-verse designs and got ideas about what classes they were, it didn't go far but it was a fun little thing we did.
Buuuuuut I lost the notebook I drew that, I have no idea where it is.

I remember once i was at a sleepover and there was only one person i knew there so I was quiet the whole time until i took out mu phone and it started blasting out popee the performer episode music. One thing LED to another, and I made a lot of new friends and when we were all tired we just lay down in the dark confessing ptp sins and headcannons. Still the best social thing ive ever done

im like legitimately ashamed of how "familiar" popee feels to me as a character??? like fuck i just look at him and i'm just "haha that's me. i'm 100% sure that is Me"
it's helped me deal with aspects of my personality i'd previously try to act like didn't exist so thats....nice???
im a hot mess and apparently a badly-animated edgelord child but i'm happy i found this series and this character bc it all gives me such a weird, comforting feeling of closure somehow

I'm going to be honest when I say that I never thought that I'd be here right now, starting up a confessions blog (in May) and being well known for my shitposting, and my silly drawings, when I watched Popee the Performer back in April.
And I never thought that I'd make as many friends as I did in his fandom. I honestly thought I'd just watch the show once, go on with my life, and then slowly forget about it as time went on.
And now, a few months later, I'm pulling more and more of my friends into CGI clown hell and I have no regrets.
At all.

I've been in the fandom for nearly one year now (one year in two fricking days) and I honestly can't believe it.
I can't believe this (and Ryuji Masuda's other shows) has become a special interest of mine and I am ready to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars in merchandise.

And, she is! Marifa, or romanized 'marifua', is what everyone Japanese calls her - I have seen it on tumblr posts for people who translate, japanese roleplaying accounts for her on twitter, and japanese comments on pixiv. It's very likely! It's also a funny but highly questionable naming connection choice of popee - poppy (opium) and marifua - marijuana. THAT is harder to source, but the connection makes quite a bit of sense from where I managed to pick apart. |

Yeah.
In my opinion, I'd rather stay clear from Popee x Papi drawings, since there are multiple reasons why it isn't the most legal thing considering the laws nowadays.

I don't know about you guys, but the graphics of Popee the Performer strongly remind me of a PC game I played at my grandparents' house when I was around 5 or something. Just recently I got the game and maybe I can record it and show it to you, though that will take a while because it's Dutch only so I also have to sub it for you.
I remember reading on the Wolfzirkus confessions blog that someone said that when they first saw PtP, they thought it were cutscenes for a video game. I can kind of agree with him or her on that.

I make videos of me reading fanfiction, this includes Popee the Preformer fanfiction. However, I'd like to see some more crazy (and sfw) fanfiction for the show. I don't like the NSFW fanfictions because Popee is underage. I just like to see him and his crazy reactions in stories.
