Because I definitely do. The voices for each character are hilarious, and adorable in Kedamono and Mirror!Popee's cases. And, like I've said in my introduction, the fandub made Popee a lot less scary for me.

Yeah! The fandub was the first way i experienced it, and i didnt know that it wasnt official - i only found that out after being in the fandom for a week or so hahhaha. Kedamono's dubbed voice totally fits him. yeah yeah its so cute ; v ; the Alien's voice was funny to me, because if i didnt understand the japanese dub before, it just makes it even harder hahaha!

I really like the fandub. They did such a good job with the voice acting! And they did a really good job with the voices for Kedamono, Papi, Mirror Popee, Mirror Kedamono, and Alien.
The only thing that really caught me off guard for the dub was Popee's voice. I was never expecting that voice for them.
And the dub adds some humour to the show as well! I found myself laughing at the dub a lot.
I've also been considering translating/subtitling the fandub, but I'm rather iffy about it and may have to ask permission from them.

Actually my first watching was the fandub (the complete one at least, I actually watched the first two episodes without voices), and Popee's voice did caught me off-guard but loved it.
Although I do wonder if they did other dubs.

Y'know, I've always wanted to watch the fandub, but I (unfortunately) don't know any Japanese! The voices sound very fitting from what I've scanned through, though.

I watched about half of the series in the fandub and honestly i didnt even know it was a fandub until now?? It sounds really nice. I still think i prefer the episodes that they dont talk tho

I can understand some of it, and that's what made me consider translating it. I only understood the "ZA WARUDO" part when kedamono stopped time. loved that jojo-ke |

Eh. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It doesn't do anything for me. The show is much better when the characters are mute, imo. The characters are really expressive both in their facial expressions and body language; I don't think words are necessary.
That being said, the voice actors still did a pretty solid job in the fandub. Kedamono's voice is wonderful. I just think Popee should sound more gender-ambiguous.

I completely agree with this statement. Imho I found that Popee's voice was way too deep in the dub for comfort. Not just for the gender ambiguity, but the canon age, too. Popee is supposed to be 17, aren't they? |
