For me it was either Swallower or the one where Popee gets turned into a fly at the end (can't think of the name for it at the moment).... although the latter was less scary and more unexpected. Darkness was pretty messed up, too, what with Popee cutting Paola's nose off and serving it as food.
*ahem*
So, what do you guys think? Which was/were the scariest or most disturbing episode(s) for you?

There were a lot of episodes that I found disturbing, but I really have to say that I found Limbo the most disturbing of them all.
Because with the rest of the episodes there was only one moment that lasted a few seconds to a minute that was unnerving, but with Limbo, the entire episode had a creepy atmosphere.
How it was set at night (cliche, I know), the audience in the wall murmuring creepy gibberish, Popee transforming into Clown Satan as well as Kedamono getting caught on fire, and not to mention that this was the first time Popee and Kedamono died in the series.
It was just the second episode in the series, too.

I agree with Raytaku. I think I already said in my intro that Limbo was the scariest episode for me and I've stayed well away from it.

Limbo is fucking terrifying but actually Loneliness got to me most. Not in a "holy shit this is disturbing/scary" way but it made me feel things. I guess I relate to it a ton with the BrainWeird(tm)..... It felt too close to home and personal for some shitty animated cgi anime about clowns wtf the fuck

I don't know, Kedamono and Papi's rapid aging at the end of "Time" still really freaks me out. I really hate seeing elderly death, and it was implied Kedamono died as a result of his aging. As for Papi, well, it was just so sudden and his face was so distressed. It was almost like a jump scare. I would definitely chalk that up as the most disturbing moment, at least for me. Not to mention the rest of the episode was so humorous and light-hearted.

Yeah, and another thing I've noticed, the episodes became more disturbing as the series was ending. Like most of the episodes we were talking about in this thread were in season three, excluding Elephant and Limbo, of course.
And the closer the episodes were to the finale, the more scary things got. It wasn't in terms of the episodes' atmosphere, but the sudden moments where things changed quickly (i.e. Popee serving Paola to Papi and Kedamono, Papi in Sleep (there's a lot, so I'm just gonna summarize it into that), Papi beheading Kedamono to serve as a car engine, Popee and the entire circus being covered in blood, and of course, Kedamono and Papi rapidly aging. I got the 'Jumpscare' vibe from that bit too.
I still find it weird how Limbo contrasts with the rest of the early episodes, though. It's so dark compared to the other ones.

swallower had to be the scariest episode for me. i hate seeing impalement and really sharp objects, so seeing that episode wasn't all the easy.

For me I think Limbo was the most disturbing because they literally died and its a kid show right? so whoever created this should discontinue it.
